Christian Living - it's for REAL life!

Adult Sunday school is a growing emphasis. Sunday school didn’t seem an appealing word for what we experience during this hour. In a brain-storming session we discovered that what really happens in these classes is ways to apply our faith to our lives….Christian living. So we changed the name. We want to develop classes so that all who want to grow in their faith may do so.

This excerpt from a recent curriculum packet speaks to our current situation:

“In today’s fast-paced world, we can get anything we want from anywhere we want it. That is how it is and how we want it to be. Our lives are really no different from the generations before us. We are always looking for more, yet never seem to find what that more is. What about our relationship with God? What are we looking for? Do we take time to talk to God? Do we take time to listen to what God has to say? Or do we just rush through our church services, our prayer life, and our Christian perspectives, with no time for reflection?”

Christian living comes from Christian learning.
