Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry is open every Thursday from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM and provides staple items such as pasta, rice, and canned foods.

First Church partners with local congregations and agencies and is glad to help connect you to the resources you need. Please contact us.

Crisis Fund

The Crisis Fund is available for financial emergencies. We can provide limited assistance for those having trouble paying utilities, affording gas, or other critical personal items. Please contact our church office at 972-625-1281 to speak to our pastor about the criteria and availability of funds.

Counseling Services

Professional counseling services with a licensed counselor are available at the church every Tuesday from 1 PM to 7 PM in the Quiet Room just off the Narthex.

Prayer

We would love to partner with you in prayer. If you have a joy or concern that you would like to have us pray about, please submit a Prayer Request, or fill out a Prayer Request card when you are at the church. If you would like to pray for those who submit prayer requests, contact us.

Homebound, Hospital and Nursing Home Visits

No one relishes hospital stays, periods of rehabilitation, or extended care. Anxiety often accompanies hospitalizations, and extended care can cause isolation from family, friends, and the church community. Our pastor and caring volunteers seek to lift these burdens by visiting and praying with persons. To request a visit for yourself or a loved one, contact us by phone or e-mail or fill out the Prayer Request card with a note for visitation during Sunday morning worship and drop it in the offering plate.

New Hope Learning Center

New Hope Learning Center provides subsidized childcare for working parents. Spots are VERY limited and there is currently a waiting list. Please visit the New Hope Learning Center page to learn more about this program.
