Staff/Parish Relations
The Staff/Parish Relations committee, with the advice and assistance of the senior pastor, oversees all staff members of the church. Although this committee does not directly hire clergy members, they consult with the district superintendent for all changes to clergy members of the church. The duties of the committee include: - Provide guidance on all personnel matters within the church
- Develop job descriptions and oversee hiring / disciplinary decisions
- Provide annual performance reviews for all clergy members
- Provide recommendations to the Finance Committee on staff compensation and benefits
- Encourage and support members of the congregation called to ordained ministry
